I hope you all have a wonderful holiday surrounded with family and LAUGHTER!

2010 Hadley Family FUN FACTS:
* Our family single-handedly infected all the Disney Princesses at California Adventure with the flu. Oopsies. .
* Aspen started a new job; the children had no choice but to join Netflix.
* Els (7) is quite possibly the tallest child in her class.
* Cadie (5 next month!) finally learned about using belts, thus eliminating many “moonings

* J-Bear (2 1/2) succesfully convinced his speech/developmental therapists that their services are no longer needed.
* Steve made a new BFF – his inflatable donut seat – due to multiple back injuries
* We got plenty of practice in home repairs after an unplanned attempt at installing an indoor swimming pool in the basement.
* Steve found out just how sharp the blade on his circular saw is when it cut through his metal saw-horses. Aspen laughed out loud as the legs fell to the ground. One landed on her foot. Serves her right.
* Aspen worked hard to develop her super-power of stealth by continually slipping new purchases into the house right under Steve’s nose! (Steve is developing his super-power of faked ignorance.)
* Els spent countless hours perfecting her cartwheels.
* Cadie perfected her ability to donkey kick when angry.
* J-Bear survived biting through his tongue during one of Els's and Cadie’s practice sessions.
* Steve started a new job in HR. We don’t really know what he does, but it’s important.
* All Els wants for Christmas is her two front teeth… no really.
* And Cadie wants a hippopotamus. (Imagine her surprise when she opens up her eyes!)
* J-Bear has become quite proficient at tattling. He is also a candidate for world’s biggest victim. Nothing is his fault. The chair hurt him, he didn’t run into it!!!
* Cadie believes she is the smartest preschooler ever. But, when quizzed, did not know her middle name.
As we look back over the past year we realize that even though we’ve had our share of crazy times, we’ve also been very blessed. We pray that the spirit of gratitude will dwell in your homes this holiday season.
